Hapū Pregnancy Necklace

Hapū is a Maori term for being pregnant. Wear this necklace proudly above your growing hapū belly.

Two hand-cut sterling silver discs are layered together. One is hand-stamped with baby footprints, the other with the word hapū. The bottom disc has been hammered around the edge giving a textured and feathered finish.

Made in New Zealand by the designer, each letter and baby foot-print is individually hammered by hand with special steel nails, thus producing a very whimsical placement. ChookMook pieces are not machine engraved, so each handcrafted piece is truly unique with an organic look.
